Mission

There is a need for Iraqis to engage in thinking about their future in a better way. To engage in thinking about development as opposed to politics. To come around issues that every Iraqi agrees upon. There is a need for Iraqis to explore their options for social and human development in the future, and be engaged in casting their voices to it.

To this end, the National Human Development Report process aims. It aims to tap on the rich human resources of the Iraqi experts, who more than anyone else know how to rebuild their country. It aims to go beyond this select group of experts and involve the people whatever they represent or wherever they come from in the country. It aims to scientifically quantify and qualify the development challenges ahead. It aims to measure, analyze, prescribe, and provide the vision for Iraqis to invest in their wealth, and in their people for a better future.
